Hey what do you guys think about the new polish generation composed of the kids, of the polish immigrants, returning to Poland. This generation would help rebuild Poland with an American or British Education.

yea they dont

the point is that so many poles immigrated during the communism occuption. Now that poland is better off then it was, the kids of these immigrants would move back to their country with an american education to help rebuild all which was destroyed .

i mean i know Poland offers citizenship to any person who has polish parents Jus Sangrius is what Poland uses to dictate who can be citizens.

Great idea but is it/will it really happen? More likely that those people immigrating to Euro Union countries for education and jobs will return.

I've tried to find the statistics on the number of European immigrants that actually end up returning but no luck. Unless you had a great job lined up in Poland why would you return right now? Not quite time I'd say

But i've always enjoyed the idea of me hitting it big here in America and returning to Poland to open up some amazing company and helping out my fellow peeps....

From what I remember my aunt telling me was that if we joined the Union things would be very tough at first but improve over time. That's why the vote was so close as to whether we should join.

The timing isn't the best and we could get better offers if we held out.

As someone who was born in Poland but who left at a very young age, I think it's pretty unlikely to happen. The sad fact is that the long Communist period pretty much left Poland a ruined country. I'm not referring to things such as pollution, architecture or infrastructure, all of which are relatively easy to eliminate or replace with enough money, but rather, Polish culture itself.

Corruption and cronyism has become so ingrained in Polish political and business culture that I find it extremely unlikely that Poland's going to get anything resembling a stable, competent government for the better part of a generation. Couple this with the advantages that educated Poles have in the more developed EU countries (assuming that they have proper local accreditation, which can be gotten with some work), and I just don't think that investing in Poland is going to be a winning proposition for a good 30 or 40 years.
