Ojczyzna literally means Fatherland (from "ojciec"), but it is grammatically in the feminine gender. Notwithstanding, it still means the land of the fathers...

It is the culture of consumerism.Mass production cannot respect local values because it is counterproductive to adapt to each unique country special needs.So they have to make products that appeal to everyone around the globe to reduce the cost.

Americans hate the EU because they are afraid of it. Change the currency of oil to Euro's, beet the price hikes.

Poland is far better today than it ever has been. It seems to me wrong or not that all countries of this size need to produce as much as they can at home cost effectively. Are imports really that cheap? Big picture!

You made the comparison not me. I thought it might have been a mistake? and it would be better to say in recent history but just not "ever".

Where I live, I dare you to find one thin girl among twenty. That is 1:20 ratio of skinny to fat girls. 95% of US citizens are fat...or will be.
