let it be written that i as a Serbian support all eventual Polish intentions to create vast Polish state which should protect Slavs from Baltic to Balkan, from Lusatia to Ukraine i even urge on Polish inteligentsia to boost its efforts. By Serbian logic Sarmatia is Sarmatia, particular title of state is just technical detail, heritage is important and it would be all right. So, i`m sure that majority of Serbs (Orthodox and Catholic) could support this idea and be very loyal cityzens of that powerful Slavic state I also believe that Russia would support this and similar intentions

That is MY Poland and Poland of Polish and Slavic patriots. Brate Lodz, why are people here, for the sake of Christ, surprised that Serbian support Great Poland? As if that could be first time that Serbs support Polish liberation and Poland as great Slavic power? As if we didn`t give to Poland our best sons when Poland was in need? As if it isn`t truth that Polish independence arised first from the blood of Serbs (Northern and Southern Serbs). From all people on this world, Slavs or non-Slavs, Catholic, Orthodox or Protestants, who could dare to criticize Polish political establishment, only Serbians deserved to be taken serious by Poles.

The downfall of that plan was suspicion and disagreements between each potential member of the alliance, like Hungary-Czechoslovakia, Romania-Czechoslovakia etc... Ukrainians were afraid of Polish ambitions to head the alliance. And I believe the pro-Russian Serb govermnent was aligning themselves with the Russians who were afraid of such an alliance. Would Hungary be excluded in this plan? I believe to get Hungary on board would be very important for Poles because of their historical ties and friendship. It would perhaps play a role in bringing comfort to those Poles who are confused in their pro-Western stance. Which nations would take part in this? And do you really believe that Russia would support an idea like this, without themselves being in control?

The great picket fence of Poland? Welcome back, Crow. I see you're still in defence-mode. Remember that many of your fellow Slavs don't see eye-to-eye with you - many because their countries have not been under attack in the same way as your own in recent times, but also because there is naturally a wide variety of opinions on these grand-scale political ideas. There is also, as you well know, a lot of nationalism that doesn't fit so well with your pan-Slavic ideas. Keep throwing them into the mix, and I'm sure Slavs and non-Slavs alike will have lots of fun reading them.

celinski: Poland is free and great already. :) Please, don`t stay deluded any attempt of Polish politicians to underline Polish independent behavior in EU looks quite idiotic. Polish soldiers are used as cannon fodders all over the world. For a little money modern Poland cooperate with mujaheedines on Kosovo and taking part in creation of Greater Albania.

Crow do you know that opposition lider in Hungary asked us to calm down tensions between Slovakia and Hungary. He said that central europe has common business to stick together buld road form Budapest to Carcow and support each other. After elections Hungarians will be ready for such projects. We can take Sweden into cooperation because it is more advanced country and I am sure they want to make business in this part of Europe. And cooperate because Central Europe has its interests and they are not the same as German. Western europe don't consider us their family, read their press or forums. Fck them. I don't know how they are going to cooperate with Russia if they don't consider central europe ... european but they read Hitler's "Main Kampf". Or Germans will make new Ribbetntro Molotov pact with Russians. I in some points agree with you.

We don't want war don't create nationalistic vision of central european cooperation. Western Europe don't consider us part of their family so what is the problem with central european cooperation.

But only normal mainstream ones, not conspiracy/nationalistic/race hate/extremist/religious ones. And I, for one, am happy that Poland is in the Union, so are the millions who have gone abroad to work and so are the farmers who have received subsidies that the Polish government would never even have thought about, even if they had the funds.
