I am planning a trip to northeast Australia in March 2008...

lot's of ples in canbrerra and sydney but outside of that i doubt the numbers are that great.

there are actually more poles in melbourne and adelaide.

but that wont help iszta as she will be north anyway.

Where did you end up moving to?
If it is Northern Territory there are a few Poles there too

I am also planning a trip to Australia but in April or May of 2009.
Is this a good time to visit?

Here is where I am planning to go:
3 days in Melbourne, 2 days in Alice Springs/Ayers Rock/Uluru, 4 days in Cairns/Great Barrier Reefs, and 3 days in Sidney.

Should I add more days to one of these stops, or this would be enough. I wish I would have more vacation days, I woud want to visit NZ as well.

Hey from Australia myself, Melbourne but in Poland currently

April and May are great times to visit...its autumn time so its mild weather..should still be sunny and not too hot especially in melbourne

Your plan sounds pretty good..
