I am searching for a Polish friend of my Mother's who was a nurse with her in Holbrook District Hospital in New South Wales, Australia around 1949/50. My Mother's name then was Biruta Grantovska, and at that time she was aged 22y and had only arrived in Australia in June 1949 from Latvia under the Displaced Persons Program.
Regrettably the person I am searching for may no longer be alive however family may be aware that their Mother or relative was at Holbrook at this time.
I would love to hear from anyone who may be able to recall some association with the above details.
My direct e-mail is:

Thank you.

Bill.
