Polish working in Singapore

I may have the opportunity to work in Singapore with my company. I am from the UK, currently working for an Oil company. My boyfriend is Polish and works as a chef here in the UK. Does anyone know how easy it would be for him to work over in Singapore? i.e from a visa point of view and from actually getting a job? Not necessarily as a chef, but probably as this is what he is trained in, however he would be willing to do other jobs. I have checked out the Ministry of Manpower. He probably wouldn't qualify for a work pass because he wouldn't earn enough. He wouldn't qualify for a dependents pass with me because we are not married. There is something called a 'long Term Social Visit pass' that he might qualify for but not sure if he could work with this. I am in the process of getting more information on this but just wondered if there were any Polish people on this site working over there right now that could give me any advise? thanks

i am in singapore with polish wife who is on a dependant pass, we havent met any polish here, apart from passing through marine crew. The actual starting wage for a working visa for an expat is very low something like S$1800 min a month, the advisors at MOM are usually very helpful, we have people here who have a job and their partner gets a dependant pass all organised through the company, its slightly more drawn out but easily doable without marriage. sorry havent really answered your question but phone MOM direct, it may be easier to get here look for a job then change visa, good luck
