DJ Ojciec Karol and mC glennSKii will be performing at events in the UK from the 14th to the 23rd of March.

Additional UK promoters are sought for cooperation on this tour.

DJ Ojciec Karol (OY-chets KA-roll)
Ojciec Karol is a DJ and a producer of Breakbeat Funk music and a founding member of the “Break Da Funk” collective. He is also a DJ and scratcher in a Hip-Hop band called “Bassgrou”.

His scratches have also been used on LP’s of bands including Patent, Bassgrou, Marika, and Letko. Ojciec Karol operates in music genres such as New-Funk Breaks, Old-School Hip-Hop, Heavy Funk, Big-Beat, and B-Boy Breaks. Organic analog sounds with broken beats, smashing bass, scratches and spiritual energy is really what this “Tigger likes best”!

For more than a year, Ojciec Karol and DJ Spike were on the radio waves with the “Break Da Funk” show in Jazz Radio FM, where Break and Funk fans enjoyed a fusion of music mixed live in the studio along with the live instruments of guest musicians.

Now they run a weekly radio show on Radio Kampus 97.1 FM. Ojciec Karol is also a Break DJ who played at various B-Boy contests across the country. He released a mix CD titled „Akumulatura”. It was a mixture of various breaks. Recently he’s finished a new mix CD "Sepukultura" featuring live musicians. Now he and DJ Spike are working on their debut album "Break Da Funk". kWaSdLaMaS! You know the score...Peace

mC glennSkii
Resident MC in the Sopot Club „Papryka”, founder and organizer of the successful weekly jam party „Żywe Środy” in Papryka. glennSKii raps, scats, improvizes and sings in English and Polish.

This American musician attained many successes as a frontman of the popular polish funk-rock band “Blenders”. They played hundreds of concerts through Poland for crowds often in the tens of thousands. With the Blenders, he has 1 platinum and 1 gold album.

In 1999, Glenn started solo projects including the band “Groovekojad” which won the Fryderyk Award (equivalent to the Grammy for Poland). These days, besides MC-ing throughout Poland and other parts of Europe, glennSKii also has reunited with the Blenders and they are finishing a new album.

He also is in permanent cooperation with the acclaimed polish Electronica/Nu-Jazz act „Automatik” – often performing live with them at their concerts.

glennSKii is most likely the first club MC in Poland, starting his MC career many years ago, from nearly the start of the Legendary Polish club „Sfinks” in Sopot.
