For UK viewers, Michael Palin visits Poland tonight in his "New Europe" documentary. He sets out from Gdansk in the north to the Slovakian boarder in the South, visiting Auschwitz,Czestochova and Warsaw. Should be very interesting. ( BBC 1 at 9 o'clock, repeated Wednesday BBC 4 8 o'clock)

it's repeated again next Saturday on BBC2 :)

My wife always watches 'Taniec z Gwiazdami' on a Sunday evening, but I believe that is at 7pm;

Yes tonight. Repeated Wednesday, and as Daisy said, next Saturday as well.

I've been waiting for the Poland episode, seen all the others so far.
I'm a big Palin fan too.
Have to catch the repeat on Saturday next.

I did not see your thread, I came to this by other means.
I still can't really figure out how to use this Forum, for the time being I know enough to get in trouble and that usually does me. ha ha ha
I am getting better at this (he hopes) and I am impressed that the mediators put things in the correct place so quickly.

Don't bother watching this. Palin has lost it - he looks tired e.g. in Poznan, he spends the day sitting in a cafe playing with his mobile phone. It's not exactly good PR for Poland.

that was not his intention of you see his other films form the travels. He just goes around and shows a little piece of what he saw. Some people watch it and take it as a final and ultimate truth.

I watched few of these programs and didn't like them . \What is the purpose of them? They are not funny, not educational......

I like them. They are quirky - that's their charm.
I'll always watch Palin.
I remember when he was doing his round the world trip, we were listening to it daily on the BEEB radio as it happened. Great stuff :D
