I dont actually see the point of her wanting to become a British citizen..Poland are in the EU...have the same rights here as English do, only difference is the workers registration... Wouldnt you be better having a look on a site that can actually give you the info! ttfn..

Okay, first of all once she has lived in the UK for 1 year she can get British residency, then five years after that she can apply for citizenship. I know this because i am married to a Scottish woman (I'm Polish) and this is what I have been told by the home office. I can apply for citizenship, if I want, in 2 years time going by this.

Watch the "Commons" programme you might learn something. If you want to talk about Ghettos go to Bradford, Birmingham, Oldham and numerous other places where white people are out numbered and all the shops are "ethnic" run by the minorities who have very little in common with Europeans...

But what if those agencies who only want to hire Polish men and women tell those British men and women systematically that they currently have no job for them? It happens, and everybody knows it happens. I'm not a Poland basher, not at all, but I don't exaggarate about people.. Also, Holland is one of the biggest investors in Poland, and we already pay the highest taxes of Europe, (When it comes down to the individual.) which also benefit Poland. I have no problems with that, and I'm confident Poland will be a good and healthy country within just a few years from now on, but I do have problems with it when people tell their own people there is no work while everybody knows that there is. Please note that I am not blaming the Polish for it. I would work abroad if I couldn't manage it back home, so I perfectly understand. But you can't blame us or the British for wanting a job in our own country.. And that's something you don't even have to understand, because it's common sense really.. (Sorry to go off topic.)
