The Polish-American Business & Professional Association (PABPA) is a new professional network of Polish-American professionals with the goal of fostering professional development of Polish-Americans, raising the profile of Polish-Americans professionals, and promoting economic growth and opportunity within the community.

While there are many Polish heritage and cultural organizations, PABPA’s mission is different. PABPA’s mission is to improve economic stature and opportunities for Polish-Americans. By uniting members of our common cultural descent into a professional network, PABPA seeks to create unique career advancement and business opportunities for members while also providing a forum to recognize leaders in various professions including law, business, medicine, education and others.

By bringing members together from various industries, professions and geographies, PAPBA creates a unique networking environment that can help members to advance in their chosen professions, search out new business development opportunities, learn from other members in similar professions and promote the continued success of Polish-Americans in the professional world.

PABPA is rolling out an aggressive agenda for 2009. PABPA will begin a 24-month rollout of regional chapters across the nation in an effort to become the first truly national network for Polish-Americans professionals. In the process, PABPA will highlight the professional achievements of Polish-Americans and provide a framework for our continued success.

If you are interested in joining PABPA, please e-mail sandy@pabpa.org for membership application. If you have questions or would like more information about the organization, please feel to visit our website at PABPA.org or by calling (908) 264-4545.

Nice idea but you are about 15 years too late. The market here is already saturated by Polish American Chamber of Commerce. They have hundreds of members and are quite active in Warsaw and Kraków. Maybe you can find a way to complement them.

Thank you for your suggestion.
While there are many Polish-American Chambers of Commerce, they are all separate organizations, with each office running its own way. PABPA's mission is to be one nationwide organization- the first of its kind for Polish-Americans.
As we continue to grow and expand, we do hope to work together with the various Chambers of Commerce as we move into their regions.

Am I the only one that sees this as a money-making venture, which benefits one side more than the other.
