Hello all,

I would like to know if it is possible to buy property in Poland as a non EU citizen. I am looking into purchasing a flat in Warsaw and would like to know if I am even allowed to do so.

Cheers and thanks for any help
roalex

You should be able to buy a flat; I think you still cannot buy land only..

You need to get a permission.

You can buy an apartment despite not being from the EU and you do not need to get any permits or permissions. I know you can because I did it myself.

You dont want to buy anything in Poland. The speculators from Germany and Holland have exploded the prices beyond the average Poles ability to pay. Poland sold itself to the EU and now the average Poles is left behind. Poles are fast becoming the negro class for Western Europe. I am very sorry to see what has happened in Poland.

Harry is from England. He went there with his British Pounds and paid a ridiculous amount for a flat. Ridiculous for a Pole and cheap for a filthy drunken Brit. Now Harry chases young Polish girls and tries to impress them into bed with his flat and his pounds. It's sad, because, well, you see, Harry cannot get laid back in England. He is middle aged and balding. That is why he went to Poland. He heard it was easy to get liad as a foreigner with a little money.

Of course. But if you bring things upon yourself you only really have yourself to blame.

Hi...you really do not need to be a resident to buy an apartment, only in case you are buying as a "second house"-which means you already have a property in Poland and buyng second apt. for rental..
