She now realizes that she might lose her daughter... to marriage or whatever.

Why would you care so much about your girlfriend mother's attention? I would personally be happy :)

very complicated,g'f is in clinic in Kracow,her mum is my only way of finding out how she is doing,last 2 days blanked me out-have only told her how much her daughter means to me-would that offend ???

Is there any connection between you and her being in the clinic? What kind of clinic? For what? Is it possible she learned something about you that affected her negatively toward you?

Or like Wroclaw said, she's afraid of losing her daughter. She's at a clinic and worried sick, now you come along to take her away.
So, maybe that's it. Just give it time so she realizes that you make her happy.

Or the opposite. She has accepted you and now has been showing how comfortable she would feel around you. No pleasantries needed to be exchanged anymore. You are one of her family and can ignore you and focus on her own. It is a polish way of showing acceptance to new family member (vanishing but still performed mostly in eastern regions of the country)

Or she pi$$ed at you because you got her daughter pregnant and that's why she's at the clinic getting an abortion.

Sounds like the mom blames you for whatever the problem is....and your "hush-hush" approach leads some of us to believe that mom may have some justification :)

No,its drug detox and she was like it when I met her.I have paid for her to go back to poland for detox so I am not to blame!!!

About your mother's girlfriend, she is maybe worried for her daughter, just because she's her mother...Time will tell, i hope ;)
