I'll take any thoughts and opinions you have on this subject. A few days ago, I stopped on my way out to chat with him. A mutual friend was there, and I gave him a hug. He looks at Arthur and says to him "Ooh, aren't you jealous? Boy, if I were 100 years younger, and more handsome, she'd be in trouble." Arthur answers "No, why would I be jealous? It's a sin" But he wasn't very convincing. I finally called him out. I said: "What is your problem you've been a jerk to me all week." He was shocked, he whole attitude changed. I did joke, because he hasn't been feeling well, so I told him I didn't need his germs.
Anyhow, I know how he loves gifts. I told him, if you want your birthday gifts early, they are in the car. He lit right up. At first he told me to wait (his birthday is the end of this month), then he told me to go get them because he realized they were in the car. I got him clothes because he doesn't have much. Two sweaters, and a scarf. He started acting very silly. I was cracking up. He was rubbing one of the sweaters all over himself. It was cashmere. Phil (our friend) asked if he could see, and reached, and Arthur jerked the sweater back and shot him a silly angry look. "Get away from my sweater!" He then waved the scarf all over. "You're so good to me." He said somewhere in there.
I remember him saying something like "Don't you wish you were as young and handsome as I am?" To Phil. I was still cracking up, I wish I had pictures or a video or something, he was so out there. "What's your problem girl?" He asked and winked. He thanked me endlessly, and gave me a hug.
