43 yo professional man from an agricultural country looking Polish woman

I am a 43 year old professional man living in agricultural country. I am formerly from Chicago and have many Polish relatives there. I am interested very much in meeting someone of my nationality who is interested in good and happy family life living in the country. I have a great interest in travel, beaches and architecture. Science and engineering are also interests. I am looking to meet some intelligent, down to earth, outdoor loving, honest, healthy women to accompany me in enjoying life. I eventually wish to marry and have children in the long term. You must also be independent and appreciate the getting to know someone process.
I am a very organized and tidy person. I enjoy cooking and entertaining. I am not one to sit down and watch TV every night. I am a social person with a great network of family and friends. , Happiness comes with self esteem. I am a compassionate person but very independent myself.
I enjoy; adventure, maps, travel, simple pleasures, good food, camping, drinks and good company

Am I old fashioned or it's a bit strange to post things like that on newspaper/phorums/magazines????????????

You must be old fashioned, because it's quite commonplace (at least in the USA; not sure about other countries)
