Well. I think if the Polish family is Catholic, shame on them if they believed in these superstitions. Really! I mean come on, the bride is so damn stressed already and putting a coin in her shoe will only make her even more uncomfortable. Poor brides - no wonder they transform to bride-zillas.
Kowalski: I know bride needs to keep a small coin in her wedding shoes..for prosperity I think. Now it has been changed to papper money. Also bride shouldn't ever receive shoes from her husband-to be, as she would leave him.
