Restaurant competition in Krakow?

Hi there,

I'm trying to learn about the cafe/restaurant culture in Krakow and I wonder if anyone knows whether there is any kind of official competition or restaurant awards that restauranteurs enter in the city?

I don't know what you mean by 'official' but restaurants enter the Soup Festival in May, which is open to anyone, the Pierogi Festival also in May and the annual Fat Tuesday doughnut competition.
