Ham the loser...

Bizarre...... Which F1 did you watch, because from what I saw he did a dam good job to come back from the fukcup he made yesterday, and if it had rained in the last section he would have won the race. As it was it made no difference to the standings with Hamilton in seventh place and only losing one point.

If you want to talk about a loser then without a doubt the biggest loser today was Felipe Massa as he started sixth and ended sixth, where he lost an easy opportunity to overtake Hamilton in the championship.

And as for Alonso lol
The funniest thing I saw today was when Hamilton drove past him as if Alonso was to busy picking his nose or something, it was that easy.

Kubica had a great race as well, don't know if any of you have watched his driving style... as it is something else, quite scary in fact. He seems to saw the driving wheel of his car round almost every corner, god knows how he doesn't wear his tyres out more than everyone else!! Great to watch though :)

And Grzegorz, if you know nothing of the subject then say nothing, because your lame one liners are getting boring, the same as you are.

Vettel had a huge weekend and deserved to win. Hamilton and Kubica both drove superbly and each one moved up up places from their starting positions. Raikkonen was a disappointment again. Massa and Alonso both had good races but it was tough to move up if you started near the front.

I felt bad for Bourdais when his car wouldn't start after he had driven so well in Q3.

All in all, this was a great race. I can hardly wait for Singapore.

Maybe but that doesn't change a fact that Ham is a cham.

I wasn't aware it was a popularity contest. Niki Lauda and Jackie Stewark pointed out why people (and F1 drivers who criticise him). Jealousy. Simple, he better than them and they hate it.

Schumacher, Senna and lots of other drivers were complete and utter cunts. Didn't stop them winning the world championship, infact it helped

Probably where Alonso is driving a Ferrari and leading the F1 WC championship.

Kubica, BTW, is within a couple of DNF's of the world championship...

People may not like him because he has confidence in his abilities, but what is more indisputable than anything else, is that Hamilton produces more excitement, more drama, and more controversy than any other performer in F1, which is exactly the sport needs. Too many times in the past, F1 has been a boring procession of drivers winning from the front with little or no overtaking, at least Hamilton is not afraid to drive like hell to win.

Alonso looks as if he will be partnering Kubica next year for BMW according to rumours and he will make an announcement after the Singapore Grand Prix in two weeks. Personally I think this will be a great move and would love to see Hamilton, Massa, Kubica and Alonso fighting it out next year :)

Good win by Alonso and i was impressed by Kubica. I'll never agree with your views Espana but you know i'm cool with that.. lots of love to everyone, from Vancouver and yes i'm very tipsy after watching the Canucks beat Calgary 5-4 in OT.....
peterweg1   Oct 12, 08, 03:25 /  #
Alonso has really stepped up a mark. Very impressed with ever since Piquet came second he's put his head down and proved the Renault is a winning car. Great entertainment. Kubica is now gunning for a possible 2nd place or even an outside first place. Not bad in an under developed BMW.

Massa has been gifted another point after ramming Bourdais, the debate was whether Massa should has been penalised (I think not), but...

In a shock decision Sebastien Bourdais, not Felipe Massa, has been slapped with a 25-second penalty by the Japanese stewards for Sunday's incident.

The steward continue to impress with new ways of helping Ferrari. The first corner incident with Hamilton was probably worth a stop go , however we now in the situation of penalising anything that could be considered racing. Massa's takeout of Hamilton would probably have been considered a racing incident until they decided that overtaking had to be completely on the racing line.

The F1 farce continues, although I'm pretty sure that the reasoning behind it is to ensure the championship goes down to the last minute and is exciting.

Exciting it is, but a sport no.. its a circus.

I can't believe they gave one more point to Massa..... Bourdais 6th position to 10th, WOT THE F*** ! He deserved his place, didn't make any mistake... Massa did maybe. Sh!t, that really sucks :/// I'm happy for Kubica, but the rest really, really sucks, it's disgusting...

Yeah ^^ The 'rest' doesn't include Alonso and Renault, that was also the good side of the race ;) La Marseillaise is nice but a bit long...and the lyrics are quite 'hard' :P

In the last 2 races Alonso should ram the Ham.
peterweg1   Oct 12, 08, 10:50 /  #
The important thing is people will watch the races and sponsors will be happy with the viewing figures.

The racing is incidental.
