Euro 2008 coverage on Polish TV

I read about the fiasco with TVP that not one single match will be shown on Polish terrestrial TV, only on Polsat which I don't have. I thought I would be clever and watch it on one of the foreign channels broadcast on n-tv which is the system I have at home. So a few days ago I checked on the web, and saw that both the German channel ZDF (n-tv channel 173) and the Italian channel RAI Uno (n-tv 167) will be showing the games today. So I sit down at 1800 today with a nice cold beer, switch on the TV and these channels have gone! Rai Uno says there is no picture/sound and ZDF isn't listed. Is that an incredible coincidence (I doubt it) or have n-tv deliberately blocked the foreign channels screening the matches? This sucks! Does anyone have any ideas on how to watch the games? I don't think I can get away with spending the next 2 weeks constantly down the pub....

U don't need Polsat sport as I was led to believe, only Polsat. Why don't u have it? I have it and pay no extra. What's bugging me is the fact that they don't have the intelligence to put up the score, WTF?

I don't seem to have Polsat at all on n-tv (unless I am being really really dumb and just don't see it anywhere..

It should be on terrestrial tv. I thought it was a standard station.

Actually I don't have terrestrial TV because my TV is literally just a monitor and not a TV with tuner inside. Back in the UK I had sky so didn't need the tuner inside it, here I have n-tv which is how I watch all channels (including terrestrial). On n-tv I just have Polsat uroda i zdrowie, polsat 2 etc.. but not regular polsat

Brilliant - thanks a lot! Looks like they moved it very recently. You just saved me from an hour fiddling about with cables trying to get my free-to-air receiver set up.. Beer back in hand... Cheers.

Seanus: It's a new Polish idea, irritating suspense ;) Maybe that is just a part of PM's Tusk positive PR campaign! If we wont see the score, even if we loose tommorow, he would be able to convince us that we actually won! What a devilish plan!

Yeah, he will get found out tho. Tusk isn't crafty enough, he appears to be a bit honest for a politician.
