Ohh so there is a conspiracy between Germany and Croatia! Damn, Crow was right afterall! ;)

Ohh, and Helmuts will lose. :)

When we kicked England butt twice (In Zagreb and in London) I can't see why Poland should be some problem to us?

Croatia cannot be considered to be classy team yet. They shoudl be in the top of at least two tournaments to confirm their high level. Two games against England, this is definitely not enough. One could write that Croatia lost to Macedonia and Malta (?) and make some conclusion basing on these two games. Both teams have pretty equal chances in this game.

They are good but hardly favorites, they won anything in recent years.

So what, Polish team probably wont come out from the group. How this is related to Croatia being classy team or not?

You seem to have a very dim view of your Polish team, indeed. I think the Poles are decent enough to topple not a few classy teams there and are entirely capable to proceed to the Qrt, if not further. All they need is a "good" result against the Germans! (Croatia doesn't count!)

Btw, here would be my favorite (utterly realizeable) group B conclusion:
Poland
Austria
Croatia
Germany

I would love to see the Austrians have a chance to laugh at their little northern brothers! ;)

This stuff with newspaper covers between Germany and Poland is very good joke for me.

But blody english gnomes revenged to us in that way that they make invalids our best player Eduardo da Silva (Arsenal).

Says Luki!

Now what do the international experts say:

URL

Croatia: Prediction: Runners-up in Group B, but will lose in quarter-finals to Portugal.
Germany: Prediction: Finalists, beaten by Italy.
Poland: Prediction: Third in Group B.
Austria: Prediction: Bottom of Group B, nil points.

URL

Austria: PREDICTION: Third in the group.
Croatia: PREDICTION: Second in the group, but they'll lose to Portugal in the quarter-finals.
Germany: PREDICTION: Group and tournament winners. He:)
Poland: PREDICTION: Bottom of the group.

I don't know if this experts are good ... esp in second example. Austrians protest against their own team because they fear that it will be shame to watch them.

Austrians fear Euro 2008 humiliation

First game will be the most important.

We are little bit frightened from Austria.
No jokes.
They have very strong motivation.

Hmmm, this first match is alwasy most dangerous.
If we would beaten Austria, Poland has 0,001 % chance against us.

If Austria beat us, in that case Poland has some chance.

Then you must build up more psychological strength!
It's something Germans are good in...even when we are one or two goals behind we
never give up.
You should forget about the defeat and storm even more...(experience helps too)

Bah, if I were an Austrian, especially a Viennese, I wouldn't feckingly care! Being in one of the most beautiful cities and countries in the world, enjoying a yearly salary that is also among the top and inheriting an unrivalled cultural heritage, those lucky Austrians are utterly entitled to view football as a kind of entertainment fit only for the irredeemably 'barbarous' and the unquestionably "hilly-billy" of our time! I just guess at this moment they are secretly and patronizingly making jokes at our rather 'senseless' and 'pitiable' soccer craze! Consider the temperament of A.Hitler, the chance is pretty high indeed...

Riiiiiight, oh Herr Meister, what is the advice your august omniscience would deign to confer to the poor and confused Polish team? May I presume it would be more psycho all the way?

Tranh Anh...you have so absolutely no idea! (Again)
:)

Austrians are at least about as passionate about football as Germany is.
They still remember the one time where they kicked out Germany from the WC...they call it "Wunder von Cordoba".
(Comparable with the Poles and their sole win)

Tomorrow they will show a funny film where Austria wins actually the championship.
They LOVE football!
They just have for many years now only depressing, humiliating defeats to show, that is demoralizing for every country!

Don't you have a vietnamese team to cheer on? You might have better knowledge about them...

Poland beat Germany in football 1-0

Poland beat Germany 1-0 on Satruday in a match between the Polish Navy squad and a team of the visiting Bundesmarine. Will the national squad repeat that feat at their Euro 2008 debut on Sunday?

I have money Germany to win 1-0 and 2-0.

I've not been wrong thus far...

Good luck to Poland tonight....win or draw this one, and the team can have a good chance of getting into the next round. The Germans will be very hard to beat, but they nearly always have a bad start to competitions, and get better towards the end.

Lets hope they have a bad start tonight and Poland will be sitting pretty, by the time they play Croatia.
