I have been looking for ginger ale and root beer in Krakow for 4 months to no avail - any idea where I might be able to find it? Also - I would like to toss some pea pods into my stir fry, but I can't find them either. Any suggestions? Thanks!

Tesco and Carefour have ginger ale available here in Wroclaw, so i would have thought you could buy it there also.

Neither Tesco nor Carrefour seem to carry it in Krakow - they do carry Schweppes products, but no ginger ale.

To be honest, I have only visited the stores closest to my flat - I'll check the others in town. Thanks for the heads up!

Try the supermarket Alma..there is one in Galeria Kazmiersz
Its more expensive then Tesco and Carrefour but they have fresh lasagne sheets, fresh bean sprouts, snow peas and some other goodies

Also try the International food store in Galeria Krakowska..it sells mainly goods from asia but they also have imports from the Uk and America so they mogth stock what you need

They definately do have Ginger Ale, it's certainly not a cheap store though!
