Various general questions about Poland / Krakow

Hello! New to the forums :) Me and my friend are travelling to Krakow 9th december. We will be staying at Maly Krakow, does anyone know that place? If it's any good? I understand that it is close to the train station and the center of the city? We will also be visiting Auschwitz, I know that you can go there by bus or train, and I guess that wont be a problem. Anything I should know? I also want to know what the general age limit to clubs in Poland is? Thank youuuuu :)
