Immigration to Poland to teach, without a Polish wife or ancestry.

I would like to move to Poland. I have no Polish wife or ancestry. I just want to go there and teach. I understand it is now very difficult. How can an American citizen with no Polish ties move to Poland to live and work?

speak to your consulate .... but if you did you would need to secure a job first then apply for a visa to allow you to work and live there ...

It's more difficult now than it was before the Schengen zone treaty was signed but it's still very possible. I'm an American who's been in Poland for a year but before I attempt to answer your question I have a couple of my own. What qualifications do you have and why Poland?
