Does Poland have an equivalent to Amazon.com?

Yeah.. I asked a friend and he said there is Allegro but as you said it's more like eBay and dare I say a little dodgy?!? I don't know because I have not used it, though once I nearly did to buy some software when I broke my computer in Poland. I was thinking more of an Amazon approach you know with a guaranteed quality of goods and several delivery options.

i think Empik have a website like that, but they've hardly got anything on stock, it's pretty pathetic lol... this looks ok filmoutlet.pl but it's in Polish. you can collect loyalty points as well.

can someone list some famous polish websites for online shopping (electronics, household, hobby, clothing). How reliable are these website in terms of delivery times and after sales services? I haven't heard many good words about polish post system so I was wondering if it is worth it since I prefer to purchase online.

Yes it does. Merlin.pl is pretty comparable to amazon, offering the widest range of books on the polish market and just like amazon it started selling other stuff as well. No Market place like amazon has though.
