GodandBrown: Its state isn't as bad as you mentioned. Maybe it's just not obvious. Poland has an unemployment rate of approx. 11% (ca. 1.72 million people) and roughly 2 million people working outside the country in the EU. What happens if those 2 million would come back to Poland because western European economies will weaken even further in the near future? Worst case, the Polish unemployment rate would double, and sooner or later people would get radicalized.
Don't count on those multinational companies that set up office in Poland. They are only in it for the money. Conditions just need to change a bit and they're gone in a snap (see Dell in Ireland). The foundation todays' Poland is built on is very weak. IMHO, of course.
