Starting a business in Poland (a recruitment company)

barrymacca85   Apr 20, 09, 20:51 /  #
hi. i am irish and doing a project where we have to set up a recruitment company in poland.

what i am wondering is, where would you reccommend setting up? we are thinking either lodz or krakow?

but probably more importantly to us at this stage is what would the average monthly costs for an office be for things such as ground floor office rental, telephone, internet usage, lighting, heating, even stationary. as you can see its quite a detailed assignment im doing!

even rough estimates would do. i cant speak polish so websites that do not have english versions are not much help

please help! thanks

I think the best location is in Lodz. It's cheapest city compare to the other big city in Poland and it have a lot of advantages. I live here some about 5 years and I'm sure of it. Things like telephone and internet conection or lighting costs can be the same or comparability in all polish cities but in Lodz you can still rent an office in good price and the costs of stationary will be lower than in Krakow, Warsaw or Wroclaw. Lodz have also a lot of Universities and very good location in centre of Poland.
