UN or NGO's organizations in Poland

Hello
Can anyone direct me to a list of UN or ngo organizations working in Poland?

I currently work for a non governmental relief organization in Africa and sometime in the next 12 months would like to relocate to Poland.

So any information on organizations work in Krakow or such would be great.

Hello Lonman,

try with http://www.un.org.pl/ and then go to Instytucje ONZ w Polsce (UN = ONZ Organizacja Narodów Zjednoczonych in Polish). Unfortunatelly all of them are located in Warsaw.

NGO's = organizacje pozarządowe

The first one un.org.pl is in Polish so did not get much information (none). :)

the 2nd set of links are good. but need to figure out how to get a list of ngo's and who is working where.

I have looked into this as I also work for a NGO and was thinking about relocating. It seems that the UN is really the only option if you want decent paid work. You will need to speak Polish to work for a local NGO and they are often voluntary or very low paid positions. Also depends on what your specific role and skills are.

Thanks for the advice. Pretty much what I figured after looking around a bit... Anyway I have an international NGO job right now working in Africa... not my favorite place... looking to get back to lovely Europe... The UN ahhgrrr not as long as I can help it will I work for them. Cheers.
