Why are all Polish couriers/postmen either morons or thieves?

Is there some kind of trade union or guild for delivery people in Poland which forces companies to only employ people who are either thieves or morons (or moronic thieves)? It is almost impossible to get any parcel or letter reliably from A to B without it running a high risk of it either being stolen or, if it has no value at all, left in a corner to rot.

It’s not that bloody hard to run a proper deliver system. The Romans managed to do it more than two millennia ago! Why can’t Poland manage it?

Interesting.

After a recent phone call my father said "Let me know if the parcel arrives"

After a series of missing parcels, my father no longer uses 'when'

Use courier companies with tracking and insurance... what's the problem? :) I lost only some parcels which should be delivered by the Polish Post, but I'm not sure where (in which country) they were stolen (parcels from US, China).

This is a repeat topic and a repeat problem. The post office in the UK investigate the problem... you try to phone for advice, but they are always busy... and so on and so on.

The whole point, which Harry is trying to make, is that the Polish Post Office is a bunch of thieves. And the fact is that they are.

Let's face the truth - Polish Post is a huge company... there are some decent people, there are some not-so-decent... don't expect too much from this company - just look at working conditions, salaries there.... no wonder that service level is low.

And that's the reason why my children didn't get Christmas presents.

I'm glad the fcuking Polish post office employees enjoyed their fcuking Christmas.

And still no reply from the post office in the UK.

Edit: last Christmas the kids got their prezzies. It was me who got nowt.

no, it's the reason why I don't trust them and don't use this company if I have to send sth valuable :)

esek,

If I don't merge us... another mod will. This has been covered before. I'll wait for others to get this post back on track before I say more.
