LCLC 1 | 2 24 Sep 2009 / #1Hi I work for a company in London that is asked to authenticate European ID'sMany employers in London are struggling to Ok Polish Drivers licences. With the UK licence number, there is a code we can apply to check it is in the right format and mathematical sums check out.Is there a similar code for the Polish Driving Licence numbers? If so where can I find it?Many thanksLCLC
dnz 17 | 710 24 Sep 2009 / #2The name on the driving licence is often Prawo Jazdy, Mr Prawo Jazdy is a very popular name in poland. On a serious note if you are employing drivers under no circumstances employ a polish one as they will be s hite. Unsafe, erratic and generally clueless.

OP LCLC 1 | 2 1 Oct 2009 / #4Hi Thanks, this is just the sort of thing I am looking for ... except.... I cant see the PESEL on the Prawo Jazdy?? Is it there and if so in which section? Many thanks indeed!
delphiandomine 88 | 18,131 1 Oct 2009 / #5It should be there, under section 4d of the photocard. If they don't have the photocard, then (as far as I know) the licence is illegal - as they should've all been exchanged for the photocard. There's no paper counterpart in the UK.Also, if there's no PESEL on the card and they claim to be Polish citizens, then the card is likely a forgery as every Polish citizen has one.
