Driving school doing b1 - possibly in english

123asd   Sep 20, 09, 11:21 /  #
Hello everyone
I'd like to know if any of you know a driving school doing b1 lessons and exams, possible in english. I am willing to pay extra for the english lessons and exams, i just want to know if it is possible to arrange something like that with the driving schoo. at the moment i am in warsaw but could evend do it in another city if it is the only way.
Please don't start asking me why i want a b1 why dont you wait you are 18 etc. i have my reasons and its a story i have not ime to explain ;)
Please dont merge this thread with others i saw as they aren't really related, they talk about licences in general.

Thank you in advance ;)

Read the previous threads on the matter.

It is very unlikely that you'll be able to sit the test due to the requirement for a sworn translator. Test vehicles are supplied by the WORD, and it would seem unlikely that they would bother obtaining a car capable of carrying 3 people for the purpose of the B1 exam.

If you desperately need to get on the road, then get a moped. I don't believe that you have 'needs' that can't be met by a 50cc moped that's had the restrictor removed.

i saw that schools doing the B1 use the Daihatsu Cuore, which has 4 seats, so that wouldn't be a problem. Do you know any driving school that have sworn translators?

That's no guarantee that the WORD in Warsaw will use such a thing, though. You should contact them and find out what they're using for the test first, before signing up for any classes. Officially, you can only use a vehicle provided by you if it's for disability related reasons - so if they're conducting the B1 test using something unsuitable for 3 passengers, then you're stuffed.

You don't need a sworn translator for lessons, just for the driving test.

How's your Polish?

i actually checked on a couple schools websites and they DO use daihatsu cuore, for 4 people. My polish is not so good - i can conversate a bit and understand a bit too but its not brilliant. I'd have to take the lessons in english if possible, the exam is not worrying me because finding a translator is not a problem, the problem is the lessons
