Veridell - | 4 26 Sep 2008 / #3I'm a student, so I have a discount and in most of cinemas I pay about 17 zl. Normal ticket (no discount) costs about 23 zl.
dcchris 8 | 432 27 Sep 2008 / #4so to answer your question there are cinemas at all the big malls such as arcadia, wola park, zlota terasa. Centrally Kino femina is one of the oldest. Silver Screen is also quite well known. For alternative films Luna is one of the more popular ones. If you need any help with locations let me know.

Cinema Atlantic on Chmielna offers a membership card with which you can buy tickets at reduced prices. Nice cinema, same repertoire as the big guys and well-placed for an after-movie drink.
caitlin511 28 Sep 2008 / #6the cinema in the palace of science and culture is always a nice place to go, or if not the zloty tarazy cinemas is new and funky.
Misiek 7 Oct 2008 / #7The huge cinema called 'Multikino' is in the Złote Tarasy mall (golden terraces).
dcchris 8 | 432 7 Oct 2008 / #8Now I just heard of two cinemas near ratush arsenal which show non commercial films.
scotjock 1 | 40 7 Oct 2008 / #9The Palace of Culture is central. Another good one is the shopping mall called Mokotow. The have a reasonable diner outside the entrance to the cinema on the top floor.
