Where is a good place to find people in Poland who don't speak English? What cities/towns are good options?

I would say anywhere out of the major cities.
Polish people do not speak English so well yet, as it has only become obligatory in schools recently.
And every Polish person I have talked to is quite happy to talk to me in Polish.

If you are learning Polish and you want to test yourself, it is better if you don't meet Polish poeple who can speak English. I am sure it will be a humbling experience for me.

Just about anywhere :-) Certain people in Poland speak some English, some of them pretty good but majority of Poles still don't speak any other language but Polish so it's not hard to find them.

The immigration office in Olsztyn.

Villages, old people's homes etc., Police stations, railway ticket kiosks, Mazury, where they seem to speak german to you even when it is obvious you aren't.

But actually, as others have said, almost anywhere. There is that problem that as soon as some people realise you are foreign and speak English, they'll suddenly think they know some and want to practise.

I've actually trained in a few sports/martial arts clubs where nobody (or very few) folk spoke English, so I had to learn specific vocab pretty quick. Either that or speak in Korean!

Good strategy! That's how I learned a lot of Japanese in 9 months, by living in a city of only 88,000 people. The moment I started to speak English to them, the crossbones came out, followed by 'dame da' which means no, bad bad.

Soon, I'll be asking the same question. I'm trying to learn polish and I'm spending hours a day studying it with every course I can possibly find.
The best way to develop it is to surround yourself with no one but polish-speaking people.
I've heard they are good at helping you and correcting you when needed.

There are 'practise your Polish' threads here but they seem to have disappeared from the first page. Bar one :)

You could go and visit some of my older relatives in Gorlice. However, most of their children speak English.

Honk if you love PF :)
