Hello PSK,

And welcome to the Polish forums.
Where in India are you from?

Will you be working on the engineering of the roads? just out of curiosity, as Poland is doing huge works here using E.U. funding to build and re-pare motorways.
So I can not answer your question as unemployment is still high here but not as high as it used to be.

It is coming in to winter here, so be prepared for cold weather and snow over the next few months.

I am sure you will find something.

I suggest bringing your family over in Spring. It can get as low as minus 30 here but it is rare.
I would estimate average winter temperature to be between minus 10 to 15.
But it gets warm during summer, although not as warm as Mumbai, I am sure :)
I would say summer time averages at about plus 26 degrees here.

I also strongly recommend learning Polish, as you might feel alienated if you are not able to talk to people.

I also suggest living in a city because it is more likely you will find people that speak English and other languages.

If you have any other questions just ask.
