Hello!

Does anybody have any information on In Vitro in Poland? My husband is a polish citizen living in the US (also US citizen). We have been having difficulty getting pregnant, and were recently told that in vitro would be our best option. We contacted a clinic in Warsaw and were told the cost (significantly cheaper than our area!), and that we would need to be there for about 2 1/2 months. I don't have any experience with healthcare, or specialty healthcare, in Poland.

Any information would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you!

Hi...

yes, of course "in vitro" is much cheaper here than in US. Healthcare does not cover this procidure...unfortunately. I found very good privat clinic in Bialystok which is famous with great doctors and high percentage positive treatments.

Thank you for your reply!

On the internet, we found quite a few clinics - with our favorite at invimed.pl. The more I research, the more confidence I have. When I first posted, my concerns were that the technology wasn't there yet, or even that it was unaccepted in Poland. A cousin told us that women who need to use IVF don't really talk about it in Poland, but it is available.

Hi,

I was using NOVUM in Warsaw about 5 years ago. It is still here. IVF and embrio transfers was made in my home country, but all the other visits I had on that clinic. At that time we were living temporarely in Poland, so I didn't want to leave any of my embrioius here ;). I liked about NOVUM and I can recomend it to you.
