ITV/C4 can't get these channels in Konstancin

Hi

i am SKY Tv'd up, but can't get andy ITV C4 channels. a mate of mine can get these on the same size satellite dish

any thoughts?

Where does he live, where do you live and what size dish are you talking about? Can you get BBC?

Your mate is telling pork pies. I have a 90cm dish in central Warsaw and can't get ITV, C4 or the BBCs. To get them you need a 2.7m dish.

Kostancin...is your "mate" Chris Bradbury by any chance?

You won't even get those channels in Poznan on a 1m dish!

Astra 2D footprint - BBC/ITV/C4 are all on it.

is it actually possible to get bbc channels in poznan then? I could get a huge dish on the balcony.

A 2m dish should see you allright, but it's probably much easier just to buy a TV that you can connect to the computer like I've got - live streams of BBC/ITV/etc are quite easy to find :)

I use iplayer, its great but i can't seem to get the itv or the c4 players working properly

this definitely needs more investigation and maybe a tape measure and a ladder

You will be able to use www.tvcatchup.com soon to view all the UK freeview channels anywhere in Europe due to the new broadcast rules being brought in :)

You won't need a tape measure: 2.7 metres is fecking huge.
