Does Poland have SANDWICH VANS

Vans that drive round from office to office or from shrubbery to shrubbery selling freshly made sandwiches, pastries, confectionary products and hot drinks? Am I obsessed? Am i obsessed? Am I obsessed? If there are any, what would you call them? I am obsessed! I am obsessed! Obsessed I am! NURSE!

You called for a nurse??!! Yes, infact Poland does have these vans. When i work for Onet in the mornings, one such van comes to sell salads, sandwiches, really allsorts. Im there again on tuesday so ill ask the guy what his trade is called in Polish.

Poland isn't that big on sandwiches. U can find them at BP stations but sandwich vans are not to be seen here. U ought to try a zapiekanka is u haven't already Osioł

At home, they like to make them but there aren't many outlets in the public domain. My girl and I make good use of baguettes from Tesco or elsewhere. Bread rolls are also legendary here. For 50 groszy, u can get a big roll that fills a hole.

Sandwich vans aren't that popular in Poland, because it's cheaper to make your own lunch. You're more likely to come across an ice van instead (ahhh, memories, I'll never forget that guy in a yellow duży fiat with a loud bell, selling only one type of ice cream called 'Śnieżynka' and yelling 'Looodyy !!!').

I thought you meant 2. :D That proves the superiority of Polish language to English language. In Polish it all would be clear :)

Capitalist, eh, no, I voted for the Liberal Democrats when they were a centre-left party in the UK. My girl's mother has primed me many times on communistic times and I feel that I have a basic enough picture. Don't try and deflect the discussion away from ur 'ice-cream' lusting tendencies, LOL

Och, I'm gonna stop the jokes now. I do like such things. In Scotland, we had 'sliders', which were ice-cream wafers with chocolate sauce if u wanted it. It was heavenly. They used Walls ice-cream. In Scotland, we have Mackies. It's from the NE of Scotland. Have u tried it Bart?

Back to sandwiches. They have opened a new place called Smoothies Bar in Gliwice. It is predominately for smoothies, as the name would suggest ;) Nevertheless, it does do a few types of hot sandwich. Melted tuna I believe which is worth munching on. I can make my own for cheaper but it's good for those nights out boozing (which I don't have).
