Why the Poles don't like AC (air conditioners)?

I am boiling in this fcuk Office and those people (yes my work collegues ) keeping out the AC almost off !!!!! What is wrong with this nation for god sake can anyone tell my Boss to trasfer me to Branch in the New Caledonia !!!!! WHere is hot and no AC need Nice brise from the sea ....

I just looked at the weather forecast for Krakow with highs in the 70's and you are saying that is hot???? That's nothing. If the highs were like that here I wouldn't run my AC either. It saves energy not to run it.

PlasticPole: with highs in the 70's Thats perfect weather Isnt that kind of cool for this time of year? It was almost 100 here yesterday, the AC seen plenty of use:)

PlasticPole: 75 is room temp :D Thats how our summmer has been mostly so far, the coolest July in 60 years. We only had an occasional hot they here and there:( Ive only had the AC on only 3 or 4 times this year. I want a few weeks of 90`s:) zion: WHere is hot and no AC need Nice brise from the sea .... mvefa: What's with the violence...!! Zion has been complaining about anything in Poland for years (even before I joined Polish Forums, he had an other account earlier, then went inactive and had to create a new one, if I remember correctly), yet he can't persuade his gf/wife to move to a better place, so he's been venting his frustrations here, successfully annoying many posters, including Grzegorz_ :)

You know most people agree it ain't quite that hot in Poland. It has that nice quality that unlike the coastal US you can sit without sweating, at least most people can.
