Polish products for sensitive skin, are they available in Poland?

Hello!

I'm moving to Poland this summer after I marry an exceptional Polish man :) I have sensitive skin so I don't use true soap products, and I generally use only bath products that are specifically for sensitive skin or for babies. In the U.S., I use Johnson's Baby Wash and any Aveeno brand products. Can anyone recommend some comparable, reasonably priced products that are available in Polish stores?? Also, could you please list exactly which stores I might find these products in? I'll be living in Lodz. Thank you very much for your help!

They have Tesco's in Poland (Britains largest supermarket chain) so I'm certain you'll be able to buy Johnson and Johnson baby products or products for sensitive skin.

You can buy Johnson&Johnson products in all big cosmetic stores. I know that Rossman shops are quite popular now as they offer wide range of cosmetic products. There are 12 Rossman shops in Lodz so you shouldn't have any problem with finding them. I wouldn't recommend products from Tesco unless they are not "Tesco Value".

Irena Eris (Polish brand, very good quality) has a whole range of products for allergy-prone and sensitive skin. Check out the Lirene line of products.

I have the same problem and use Roc and AA only.You can get both without any problems.There`s another one Ahava.I used to buy those products in the UK.They are great.Unfortunately , you won`t get them here but can get them in your country.I hear they are very popular there.

I'm sure that I've seen Dr Hauschka products in Poland - they are excellent for sensitive skin.

What suncreams do you use? My daughter needs Vichy and it's tricky to find.

I would recommend Avene products – perfect for sensitive skin. They are available in almost every pharmacy.

Much better than the chemical packed stuff

I buy it in the UK (or when I'm in Germany... lots cheaper there), but I found you a Polish link to it.

yes, they are quite expensive but very good for sensitive skin.

I use Ziaja Sopot Sun SPF 50+. A bit hard to apply on skin (very thick) but it is perfect for preserving my paleness. I just came back from Heineken Open'er festival with absolutely no tan at all, while most people there got burnt.

Avene, Vichy etc. can be bought in any Apteka (pharmacy). They are very expensive but widely available.

poland has an awesome cosmetics industry. the products are way better then the stuff in the west. look into it; you will not go back. :D

I mention suncream because there can be allergic reactions to the ingredients, especially in the brands which don't cost an arm and 2 legs. My daughter is allergic to a very widely-used compoment, and Vichy is on the short list of suncreams not containing it.

Vichy skin care products are indeed widely available, but the suncreams not necessarily so. I had choice of SPF in my local chain-style drugstore in Canada whereas here in Gdansk I really had to hunt for the single bottle I found last year.

At over 50zloty for the bottle I'm content that the rest of us don't need to share it ...

Plenty such products. I buy shaving gel/foam for sensitive skin and it works well. Tesco is a good bet!
