U.S. Academy Awards (Oscars) televised in Poland?

Hi, I'm living in Wroclaw for a year, and really liking it, except for just a few things I miss: American sports, Taco Bell, and my dog. And then there's the U.S. Oscar presentations, which are set to be broadcast on February 26. Does anyone know if these are shown on Polish TV? They always say during the ceremony that they're broadcasting to "billions" of people across the world--is that really true? And if so, are they shown live--i.e. at four in the morning or so, or on a tape delay? Thanks.

do you have cable or sat tv, normally these have monthly programs that let you know whats on in the coming month.

Thanks for replying. No, I don't have sat or cable tv--just 6 or 7 local channels. And I realize that will probably make watching the Oscars less likely, which is all right, though it may mean I go through physical withdrawal symptoms...

you should be able to watch it live through the iternet, just do a search.
