SeanBM: Floods here.Photos There was something similar in parts of Wroclaw yesterday (as described in post 92). Today it was ok. According to the forecast Sunday will be dry here.

Seanus: Violent storms have been forecast for the coming week. Tell me about it my PC took the aftershock of a bolt of lightening yesterday, it had a funny five minutes no damage luckily. On that note The Tower on my house is the highest point around here for a mile best check the lightening conductors.

forecast for Wroclaw in the next few days. expect minus temperatures at night... and possible snow. it's just a cold snap though.

I'm off down the garage to stick my winter tyres on. Was going to do it yesterday when I saw the forecast but then forgot. Hope there's no queue today or I'll be kicking myself.

here's more weather news: http://www.polskieradio.pl/thenews/national/artykul117871_winter_falls _on_poland___in_october.html Additionally, cold and gusty winds of up to 110 kilometers per hour locally are making life miserable for pedestrians, the chill factor bringing temperature down to the equivalent of minus 8 Celsius! however, wroclaw, today, is cold and gray. not too bad.

Snow!!!! What kind of God forbidden country is this???? it is not just a light snow, OH NO! Straight from 25 degrees last week or a few days ago to WINTER!!! AAAAAAAhHHHHHHhhhhahahahahahaha

They say it'll go on Sunday but still it's a bit of a shocker. It just makes me feel tired and obviously cold. Time to get out the woolly mittens! Hahahaha, snowboarding, think snowboarding.... :)

lol, I have to go out this afternoon and help my father-in-law bring in his cattle from over the hills, now that is going to be a blast....not!!!! If you see a message from my phone on here saying help! send out the St Bernard with a keg of Brandy around his neck hehe

Camera on the market square Krakow doesn't look so bad, but it is cold and snowy. Ah sure, this too will pass ;)

Very very windy very very wet and cold in the ilawa area,light snow yesterday, IT WILL SOON BE SUMMER AGAIN

56,000 people left without electricity in małapolska. 250,000 people nation wide without power, the worst hit was the lake district. and that is after fixing half of the problems yesterday, when over half a million people did not have electricity. I was driving south of Krakow last night, many trees had fallen. The deciduous trees are not able to handle the weight of the snow. It is still snowing!!!

here in wroclaw the first snow of the season fell last night. this morning: partially white cars, some snow on trees and grass. the roads were clear. pouring with rain in the afternoon.

We have light snow up here in Pomerania....zero degrees....Pretty windy too , had my satelelite dish take flight , as well as part of my barn.....don,t you just love proper weather....

wildrover: had my satelelite dish take flight Another UFO sighting :) wildrover: don,t you just love proper weather.... Yes. South of Krakow it is plus 7/8 during the day and now it is 5. It has been dropping to minus 1 or 2 at night the last week or so. Clear sky though and in the sun it is warmer.

it's damn cold. i didn't even imagine:D i left summer place for winter place wearing a sweater only! but i can't wait snow. i rarely have it in my home city
