Where are avatars??

i really miss the old old format with the avatars on the left and all the members info clearly written under the avatar. and the stars. all the social networking sites insist on 'improving' their layout like this without asking if people mind. yes you can say it's your site and if we don't like it we can get the hell out, but would you really want us to? it's not gonna change anything but i just thought i'd have a rant.

Wow is us for we can not live without our silly picture thingys. aphrodisiac: they were a destruction, so now one can concentrate on the content?:) If you are going to be all logical and constructive, well then, then you can just say sorry to Jonni for wasting his time as he slaved over finding just the right Polish Lynx, he interviewed many Lynx but most of them were Ukranian or Slovakian but finnaly after months of searching he found the one with a Polish passport and now all that work is for nothing!!! Personally I could not give a hoot what changes in here, i would not mind if it was upside down.

It stemmed from 1988-2000 and sth. DSOT (not DSOTM which is great too), one of the best albums ever produced, esp given that it's live. Admin, any plans to bring the avatars back?

how about you put a space between the posters' names and the word 'Threads' written in those bulky letters at the top of each post admin? it looks all cramped. i preferred the old format, i keep drifting to the left when i wanna go to newest threads and then i remember it's on the left now. i don't get it, if you wanna improve the forum and make it more interesting then make some significant changes, add something i dunno wallpapers, pictures, RELEVANT adverts. why make those annoying, petty, totally unnecessary tweaks that confuse the hell out of everybody? quite irritating when you do it million times a day too. i really miss the old old format with the avatars on the left and all the members info clearly written under the avatar. and the stars. all the social networking sites insist on 'improving' their layout like this without asking if people mind. yes you can say it's your site and if we don't like it we can get the hell out, but would you really want us to? it's not gonna change anything but i just thought i'd have a rant.

Now I am really spooked. Beside the envelope (above and to the right of the avatar - which should be on the left side of the page btw...) there is a number sign - BUT NO NUMBER! How am I to reference a post number when it is not displayed???

JustysiaS: RELEVANT adverts. Adverts are never relevant. They're only added to sites to make cash for that site. I work for a site that would happily ditch all adverts but can't afford it. (Yet). That's a long time ago and more modern/recent sites have moved on a lot. The written word is key now. Social networking sites revamp as often as possible because their key is linking people. They don't ask because they don't have to. They'll also never change even if a million people join a group to ask them to change. Their boffins tell them what is key. PF is evolving, like it should. All PF can ask is that people note the changes and give each change a few days to sink in. Admin: Username + actual post. Actually no more is required. PF actually provides the other info if required.

Actually, when I move my cursor over your silky black hair, nothing happens (on the screen anyways) but when I move my cursor over your name, the number of threads you created, number of posts you have made and your gender magically appear. Just like the info below your avatar!
