Destroying PF?

You just took off the section in the front page which showed CURRENT HOT TOPICS for easy participation?.... this was the HALLMARK of Polishforums....something that made it different from all others! WHY DID YOU DO THIS ADMIN? How could you yourself kill the aspect of this forum which made it so different from everyone else!!!

Lodz_The_Boat mate they do it all the time, 'to make things better' but as they say if its not broken don't fix it, they call it tidying up, we call it spoiling the forum. I totally agree with what you have said, admin if its working there is really no need to change it, i don't know why you need to keep changing things all the time, you really are the Rafa Benitez/Claudio Ranieri of the forum world :) UPDATE: lol, so instead of changing it back after a few people have agreed with the OP, you just call the 'all-threads' - 'latest discussion' instead, i think you missed the point the OP made :):):)

Its evident that the previous format was the x-factor of Polish Forums. The differentiation occured there. All other forums would seem very lousy infront of its easy tools, encouraging very active participation. It is so unfortunate that this MAIN THEME has been taken out. Now look at this forum ... its plain and usual now... I feel very sad about this. ADMIN, please take notice. It is definately a great loss. We all want the good of this forum...we all love it. I am sure not less then your love for it.

Hey, guys, I don`t understand you. It is much quicker and convenient to click the button Latest Discussions than scroll down, past all those lengthy Board names, to the end of the page to see all topics. For me, it is a change for better. I am not as conservative as you. :):):):)

Ok so by the looks of it, at the moment the vote is 8-1 against the change, lets see how it is in a few days, it will be interesting to see people's thoughts.

What has changed? It hasn't gone yellow. The avatars haven't moved to the other side of the screen. So what is it?

Isn't destroying a litlle too emotive. Are there people out slashing their wrists because their button has gone. Ah diddums.... Should be more woried about the increasing proportion of inferior posts IMHO.

It would be good if folks could give the layout changes a few days and then comment, get used to it, you'll see the positive and negative changes more clearly then. ;) Another site I'm at just now has just made major changes and I've seen one good and one horrendously bad point there so far but I'm still checking it out. I don't think PF is being destroyed LtB but it is vital that there are changes or else a site just becomes stagnant. One of my personal sites I've changed twice in three months, all for the better it turns out. :)

I just click on " Latest Discussions" and it looks the same. It would be good if there was a button that you could post a "recommendation" on a post rather than the same point being repeated.

Do you guys know about "Latest Discussions"? If you click on that, you get the screen that used to be on the front page.

Do you not think in two and half years if it was failing then it would have failed?

He complains so much it seems never ending and his moans are like badly designed sonic furniture. If he had nothing to complain about, he wouldn't really be happy. Daily Mail readers want "their country" to be constantly going to hell in a handcart because this puts them comfortably in their moan-zone. Tornado wouldn't have stuck for so long with a forum if it only ever gradually improved. It has to get worse to keep him happy. tornado2007: come on donkey, you clever, work it out :P I have spotted one minor difference, but it seems rather insignificant, so perhaps the elephant before my eyes is still mysteriously eluding me.

' There is more work going on on the index page layout and it will probably be good enough so that those who complain now will have to odszczekać their words. But in general, if I was a regular user, I would be more worried about the poor site's support rather than layout changes because in time the current site changes may seem trivial ;).

I cant find it now, but there is a "time back" feature where you can travel back through the ether - back to a time when the screens were yellow, when avatars were on the other side when the rate of posts was around one a day back when the majority of posters were American..........
