Getting a picture in the avatar?

How do you get your own picture in the avatar?

Thanks, Grzegorz, but everytime I try that, it doesn't allow me to do it. Obviously I'm doing something wrong

Most likely the file is too large. If you like, you may email the file to info@polishforums.com and I'll resize it and resend it to you. Admin

hahahaha You noticed I keep changing it...
it has to be under the size 100, you can re-size it at : picresize.com

I keep trying to resize my avatar but I can't get it below 5kb. The best I can get is 6.7kb. Even then it looks useless!!!!!

Any tips? Picresize.com wasn't very helpful as they could only get it to 20kb. I used Photoshop.

Any other tips?

Make it smaller in size? (and .jpg or .gif). If it fails, you may send it to info@polishforums.com and it will be resized and emailed back to you.

Admin, will we ever be able to use larger (+5kb) Avatars?

No, but some that I find a re a touch over 5 and I have to alter it quite a bit. Sometimes it takes away from the picture/print.

Not a big issue though...just curious

That's true - most graphics need to be altered to meet the "avatar" criteria. But it's fun to do that (in Photoshop or similar software ;). The current one you have looks good IMO.
