Interesting to see the new feature at the bottom of the screen (unless it isn't new and I've only just noticed it!) Admin, how about putting it in alphabetical order?

The only thing at the bottom of my screen is this 115 users online in the last hour [Guests - 67 / Members - 48 which has always been there, can't see any names

I just noticed it a minute or two ago. I wonder have all these people got nothing better to do on a Saturday morning/afternoon? Then I wonder why so many are so quiet. Some may just be lying in wait to pounce at just the right moment, others may actually be using the site to learn something. Hello Admin, by the way.

I switch my PC on in the morning and ist stays on, I also have at least half a dozen tabs open in IE7, so the fact that may name is showing doesn't actually mean I'm in attendance

Yes, now Gold Members have access to the full Who's Online" feature. It is available on the Index page and Checker pages only. In addition, Gold Members have bigger Inbox for storing private messages - currently 60 versus 30 for regular members. All membership features are listed at the Gold Membership page. osiol: Then I wonder why so many are so quiet. You need to understand that this feature shows users who have been online in the LAST HOUR (60 minutes). That means someone could get online 59 minutes ago and be 50 miles away from his/her computer when you still see this member appearing online. Just like you see the light of a star that might have already been gone when you actually see the light from Earth :. Or someone could just refresh a page in their browser 23 times a day every 55+ minutes and appear as he/she's been online 24 hours a day. So it is not exactly "who is online right now," but who has been online in the last hour. sausage: I think the list is perhaps sorted in order of when the users logged on... Correct.

I think the list is perhaps sorted in order of when the users logged on... in which case I take back my earlier comment that it should be in alphabetical order.

On the subject of new features - a really good one would be to not force CST time on everybody. Can our timezones not be saved with our account settings?
