Seanus is an inevitable mod, the boy has a pragmatic feel to him, make it happen already and be done with it.


I agree, the key factor also is the amount of time he spends on this site, which I think is a good thing.

He is level headed and those who say otherwise don't agree with something he said previously and that shows a level of maturity in their posts on this very thread.

He's not baited easily either which I personally look up to.

All in all: It's not easy being a mod and I think they are doing a wonderful job as is admin who actually listens to the user and spent time incorporating new features into the site last week! See how many sites that would happen on!

I like the two new mods they were my choice and WB is a whiny old prick! Everyone should just send him to Coventry!

I agree, this is a discussion about the New Mods. UK Polska, why the u-turn? We used to see eye-to-eye. Even WB, whom I liked, did one.

Let's keep it to the New Mods and what they are doing.

I vote for Wroclaw Boy as mod. He might be an embittered Internet Rambo with a possible drink problem but he's not scared to make the tough decisions and he's not swayed by popularity contests.

This is a opinion of my own and as such I have a right to voice it, and moderators should not allow personal judgments to affect their job, otherwise it can be classed as censorship.

and unfortunately that is exactly what is happening here again even though i doubt the mods are injecting their pov. however, that seem to be the prorogative of the admin. he must have loved it under the red regime and must miss the good ol' days or something as this is exactly in line with that kind of bs. :)

Freedom of speech is ok within reason. We are all aware of the rules, or should be, and what ukpolska said was fine. There is no doubt that trolls draw the crowds in and allow the Mods to do their job more fully.

That's a bit of a strange post considering that two of the team are Polish, one is from Scotland and one is from Newcastle. None of them could be considered "Limey".

If one person is from Scotland and one from Newcastle and there are three moderators then that can't be quite right can it ? Unless there are now four moderators <or do you include Admin here ? >

PD is Scottish <as you know already Misty :) > PGTX is Polish and that must mean Wroclaw is from Newcastle ?

I thought Wroclaw was English but lived in Poland ? Did I get that wrong ?

I don't mind what nationality they are really, doesn't matter so long as they moderate well.

I didn't know Wroc³aw was a Geordie. Geordies are some of the finest, most charismatic people out there. My brother's wife's family is from the NE. Mainly Newcastle but also Sunderland and Middlesborough. A bit of rivalry there.

Newcastle is in England which is in Britain. Scotland is also part of Britain. Doesn't Limey mean British?

seanus you have just proved why you can never be a moderator.

The over exuberance of the new moderator can easily be explained due to their inexperience, and I am sure that they will settle down to be good additions to the site.
Good luck to them, but after being one of the longest members on this site I am being slowly sickened by people who pretend to act righteously, whilst ridiculing anyone who steps outside their warped sense of values.

Slowly but slowly I am becoming sick of this site, which is a shame because it is not like it used to be when it used to be full of genuine people and not primadonnas'.

This site is full of genuine people. You are just towing the old trotted out line. I realise the value of many posts here and see the different things that people bring to the table. I keep faith and don't dismiss people like you do.

Exactly, he's a disillusioned troll. I used to have respect for him, he was a good poster and likely a good man. Ah well, people change.

PLEASE, let's get back to the thread. This is NOT about me, but about the newbies. If you want, ukpolska, there is a thread called Seanus - Our Next Mod? by my good friend espana. Revive it and discuss things there (hacking at me) but stop diverting the focus away from our current Mods. People wanted New Mods, now you have them, let them know your thoughts. They listen well, I know that much :)

Nope just moved on to something better, got tired of bashing the same old lines over and over, but you know something about that don't you after all you were a chief architect of the Avalon method, which was disproved when the director of the organisation came on to the site to denounce your claim. Do a search yourself guys if you don't believe me...at least I don't pretend to be someone I am not.
