Is the Price of Pepsi!!!! why does only 0.2L of Pepsi cost like 3.5, 4.5, 5Zl while pepsi cans(0.33L) cost 0.99Zl in supermarkets

it's like everyone is winning 800% from Pepsi... is Pepsi considered as Gold or something in Restaurants?

i remember back in Lebanon, a pepsi can(0.33L) in most restaurants cost(prices converted) 2zl, MAX 4zl.. yet here.. they want more and they give you less :/

You could have your meal and then go to the shop to buy a pepsi, innit

Obviously restraurants are taking advantage of a business opportunity, nothing more.

Because they are restaurants and charge higher prices than supermarkets. Bigger commision for waiters, sort of.
I can see only one solution for you: you should start dining in supermarkets.

Could be worse. You could spill your overpriced pepsi, then have to wipe it up with those pathetic things they call paper napkins / serviettes. :-)

...to me they are neither use nor ornament. I just cannot image poutting that near to my mouth to maybe wipe off any remaining food. I certasinly wouldn't even wipe my bu. with them - I always carry my own. Whenever I see them on the table, I always ask the waiter/waitress to move them to another table as they annoy me so much.

how about asking for a glass of water. In North America, you would get tap water and it is free. Here in PL its almost impossible. They wanna upsell u to the 200ml bottle.

other than 95% of the time getting crappy service, that is my peeve

I had an experience, funny enough it's coke this time :-) on the menu it says can of coke and the guy served me a glass(very small shot) from 2 litres bottle hardly any sparkling.

I don't mind how they charge it's a free market as long you get what is advertised on the menu.

business is business... i hate that in pubs oftem a glass of orange juice is more expensive (or at least same priced) than beer (as I don't drink at all) - and so what? Life is brutal :D

Drink before going to the restaurant. That's what I did yesterday, I got close to waterlogged before going to play Scrabble. I still needed 3X40mls of żołądkowa z spritem i z limonką though, :)

The thing I hate about restaurants in Poland, is that everything is served with surówka. I always say "bez surówka, proszę!".

I am not sure about restaurants but I had to ask my aunt to not serve my vegetables with a sauce made of melted butter and breadcrumbs.

Mind you, the way they murder vegetables in Poland is criminal. They are boiled to oblivion. You cannot eat them with a fork, you need a spoon.

What's wrong with surówka? Not all restaurants are this way. In Gazdówka, the local mountaineers restaurant here, it is offered separately as a salad bar which you pay 6PLN for.

I have noticed the excessive boiling though.

me complaining? k sure.. i guess 4.5zl for a 0.2L bottle is fair then :/

i should one day open a restaurant one day and serve 330ml glasses for 2zl in restaurants and see what ppl think about it :P

but thought I'm only 16 so i should wait then xD
