Can anyone teach me an easy and fast Polish dish?

I like delicious food,but i don't like cooking,because you know,chinese food is very complicated,and i always think if you want to cook a nice dish (from gustation and visual effect),you must put your mind in it.and i'm not a patient people. Is there anyone can teach me some easy and fast polish dish,he he he......must be easy ^_^ don't tell me how to boil the noodles,because when i'm at home by myself,what i can eat and cook is noodles :(

I think you can try making naleśniki (sort of pancakes) they are quite easy - I am no cook myself but I can make naleśniki if you cook for one person take half litre of milk (one pint), add about one glass of wheat flour, mix it well with the milk - it should form pastry - then you add one egg - mix it again - and finally add salt - you have to figure out yourself but one teaspoonful should be enough - a bit too little salt is better than a bit too much - the pastry should not be thick - you should be able to pour it out onto a frying pan pour some cooking oil onto a frying pan and heat it until you see a little bit of an oil fog above its surface - then you pour pastry over the frying pan so it covers the whole of it but rather with a thin layer - you have to check if the down side is ready it can be golden but not dark brown - when it's ready you have to turn the pancake - having some experience you can do it quite easily throwing it out of the pan so that it turns in the air and then you catch it back with the pan again the amount of ingredients should give you up to ten pancakes depending on how thick you make them (the thinner the pastry the thinner pancakes you can get) when ready you can fill the pancakes with various fillings or just smear them with say jam or maple syrup spinach filling is very delicious - in Poland you can buy frozen spinach with cream which is best for the purpose - you just need to chop two garlic claws??? into very little bits and add it into defrozen spinach pulp (if you buy spinach sans cream you can add some half glass of cream) - the spinach now needs some salt and pepper and short boiling in a frying pan (you can add some cooking oil but it's not absolutely necessary) when the filling is ready you just fill the pancakes with it smacznego :)

schabowy z ziemniakami, surówka z kiszonej kapusty, a na popite maślanka ^^ :] (i will try to translate :P) pork chop with potatoes, sauerkraut salad, and buttermilk to drink buy a piece of pork, tenderize it, cover with panure then fry it in oil, boil potatoes (don't mash them if they are young), for salad use the sauerkraut, onion, carrot, little oil, salt peper. thats all :) this is the most ordinary dish in poland :)

when it's ready you have to turn the pancake - having some experience you can do it quite easily throwing it out of the pan so that it turns in the air and then you catch it back with the pan again Gumishu,i think it will be difficult for me,if i can throw the pancake into the air and then let it come back to the pan,i will be a good chef! but most important is when the pancake fly to the air and "thud" down to the ground......what i can do is cry :( but i'm imagining your pancake,it must be delicious,unfortunately,i'm in China,can't see your pancake,can't smell it,can't eat it!!! Hi,Michalek,the idea you said is a good idea,boiling pork and potatoes suits for me,it is a lazy and easy and fast dish,i will try tonight,hahahahahaha......by the way,is it really a common polish dish???

potatoes are bread in all the vegetables,but if your girlfriend has O blood type,and she is just losing her weight,then eating too much potatoes can't help her to control weight,hehehe......

no,i also like potatoes,facing nice dish,i can't control to eat too much! today when i came to office,they sald i'm a little fatter :( because we eat too many potatoes recently,and i'm O blood type! so how about putting tomato in this dish to replace potatoes?????

Side dish? Hunter's Stew is often the main dish. It doesn't go with anything and everything really. Bigos z frytkami? Hmm, I think not! Are you PP?

bigos is a main dish definitely, i eat it with bread only :D Just finished my bigos and no more left... :(

First take 2 fistfuls of flour ( for little asian woman -6 fists full ) and a shot-glass full of milk and roll it up . When it turns to dough - you don't make noodles with it - you make round flat dumplings . Then you put in the middle of the dough-circles a lump of kapusta or kimchee for you , or some stomped potatoes , or crushed turnips , turtle-balls , or whatever rocks or mold of your favorite choice . Then you fold the dough circles over the lump in the middle & stand waaaaayy back from your dutch-oven full of hot motor oil & yuou throw the dumplings into the pot . When they are finished you will be Polish and have some Pierogies . Please thank you for to tune in tomorrow and happy get recipe for Golumpkis ? Golabkis ? phhllpptthhh phhllpptthhh

If you put meat in your bigos, then yes it is a main dish. Nice hearty slice of fresh rye bread and you have a very filling meal. And the only thing I can think of that wouldn't go with bigos as a side dish would be short ribs or kielbasa and kapusta! Okay, I'm making myself hungry now!

christy1991: some easy and fast polish dish BLINKIES (POLISH POTATO CAKES) 4 med. potatoes Dash of salt 3 tbsp. flour 1 egg Grate potatoes. Add salt and enough flour to hold together. Add 2 tablespoons butter to frying pan. Drop mixture by tablespoon into pan and fry until well done and turn once. POLISH POTATO PANCAKES 2 c. grated raw potatoes 2 tbsp. flour 2 well beaten eggs 1 tsp. salt 1 tsp. sugar Pour off dark water accumulated on top of grated potatoes. Add the ingredients and beat well. With spoon, drop mixture on hot griddle and spread as thinly as possible. Fry on both sides. Easy to make . :)

How to explain? it is a difficulty for me,because my english isn't good,i try my best! The hemagglutinin in the potatoes is one of the factors influence O blood people to lose weight.when hemagglutinin and antigen in the O blood meet together,they will happen agglutination reaction,then precipitating in the musculature,and making musculature become alkaline.different from other blood types,alkaline isn't good for o blood people's body movement.Studies find that,when o blood people's musculature show itself subacid,their calorie consumption will be rapid. Anyway,the alkaloid in the potatoes are very high,before you cook,you'd better dip them in the water for longer.

Yesterday is sunday,i didn't work,so i wanted to cook pancake as the way of what you taught me here.but i have no saucepan in my home,then i used wok.i prepared flour,eggs,chopped meat.first step is making dough,problem happened:how much flour and water should i mix??? the quantity i originally cook was just for myself,so i added two cups of flour and one cup water,but it seemed a little stiff,one cup of water more,then a little dilute,then a little more flour,more water......when i mixed the dough,the quantity became enough for three people :( it was really not easy for me! Second step was frying,i put the dough in the wok,and whirled my wok to spread the dough and made it into one pancake,but its thickness was difficult to control,the result was,it was thick in the center of the pancake and thin at the edges :( Fortunately,they were not very hard to eat,but because i cooked 5 pieces of pancakes,then i just ate them for lunch and dinner,there are still 2 pieces in my refrigerator!although they aren't very very delicious,but it is first time i fry pancake and wasting foodstuffs is inglorious ,so i must take them as tonight dinner,hehehehehehe......

Thanks for reminding^_^ Next time,i will be better in cook polist style pancake! this is the first time,maybe itsn't 100% polish,next time,next time,i think it will be at lest 95%! he he he......:)
