of course that is what he means, he just put it in a slightly different way, some Americans obviously feel uncomfortable when they are taken outside their vocab comfort zone. Relax, let the term sink in and then breathe out slowly, you will then feel warmth of expansion :)

Best pierogies I've ever had were in Wrocław about a five minute walk west from the train station on Piłsudskiego. I can't remember the name of the place but it specialized in homemade pierogies, which really delicious and very, very filling (and came with browned onions - also delicious).

Don't go near Krakow, their speciality appears to be drowning them in oil :/

I like to fry about a pound of bacon, save the oil, then when the pierogies are boiled, thow them in the bacon fat, and cook until golden brown. If they happen to soak up a little oil, so be it.

Yum!

I am sure it will be clearly explained in the autopsy report.

There is a small wooden restaurant at the bottom of Kuznice in Zakopane - Kolibecka - Pierogi from there is..... no words! DELICIOUS is not enough! I have eaten in many many places in Zakopane and love my pierogi but Kolibecka is something else! It's such a tiny little place as well, you usually end up sharing a table with a few other people but it doesn't matter! the food is what they are all there for!

Best homemade pierogi are in small village Wejsuny, near Ruciane-Nida. The best and the biggest ever! Every time I go home, going there is a MUST. Not even my mother's dinner can beat that.

z mięsem ? :-)

The best place where I ate pierogi was at my hotel in Mazury (Hotel Conrad on the shores of lake Ro¶). The cook prepares everything fresh, absolutely all ingredients. It is also the place where I had the best goł±bki and barszcz czerwony.

Exactly! ;)

Bar Teatralny is right by me here in Gliwice, the pierogi there are good.
