There's a bar mleczny around the corner from the tube station, you could try that. But you may wish to add a lot of pepper to the meals :D
Us Poles have one thing in common with Indians, we always have an uncle who can find something for us even cheaper elsewhere, so you can trust me, haha ;)
There's an Indian restaurant on Al.Jerozolimskie I suppose, you could try that (and tell us how bad it is! haha).
