I know it's kind of like the English version of supernoodles and probably seen as somewhat of a poor mans food but I came to know and love Nudle in Poland! So much so that I had my girl send me some over along with the usual Polish goodies! (Milka etc!)

So who likes Nudle? and if so what is your favourite?

This is mine....

Nudle! :D

Cheese with Herbs. Delicious but it's not supernoodles it's actually a soup.

Depending on where you live you can get nice Barszcz Czerwony by Winiary in your local Asda. No need to send your woman out shopping for it!

Stock up on it. It's about 34p a packet for 2 servings. Full of additives and shite. Damned tasty with some buttered toast or ravioli.

I still have a fair few packs left :) it's just not the same as the Polish home made stuff though!

It's on a par I think, not exactly a healthy option. I will never make barszcz czerwony again, it was the cause of a "domestic"!!

Kendal.

been there a few times, nice place.

i discovered a large eastern european shop (thats what the sign says) in the centre of rotherham the other day. i don`t tend to shop in rotherham centre so it was a bit of a surprise. if anybody knows rotherham it`s across from the hare and hounds pub.

Cheese with herbs is my favourite too. My fiancee never lets me eat all of the sauce as she claims that it gives you the runs. Not sure how valid that is or if she is talking through experience, hehehe.

I've tried most of the others too, the ones made by Knorr that is. They are better than the Amino or other ones that I've tried. Vu-Fon are not bad.

Still, I've been fortunate enough to try la creme de la creme. Nissin in Japan are better. They had a cheese and curry flavour which was sensational. The spicy ones in Japan are devilishly good too. They even trump Pot Noodle and I was a big fan of those in Britain.

Yeah I like it there is a small Polish section, There used to be one in the Spar in Ambleside but they got rid of it. Damn.

yeah, it will probably be "randomised"...

I didn't batter her or anything! I had to carry these stinky beetroots all round Tunbridge Wells. Then when we got home, she didn't even help me make the barszcz despite the fact that it's supposedly the only thing she can cook. Anyway I called her a "zepsute dziecko" or something similar, thinking it meant "spoilt child" and she took offence! Only a minor rift!

There is:

cheese with herbs
curry
spicy chicken
spicy tomato
mushroom
tomato
chilli
pork
and a few more I can't remember.

I do like the spicy ones.

There is:

I've never had the processed stuff but most of the Polish food shops in the UK stock them. You may find Tesco might do so if they have some Polish food Aisles. Just depends if you live in an area with Polish people.

I personally prefer the Vi-Fon bad boys. I find the Knorr Nudles to be pretty bland to be honest. I did find an awesome one in a 24 hour shop one night that had like a wee tin with what looked to be dog food in it. But it was like a meat and veg thing to add to your noodles as well as the oil and soup base as normal. Was phenomenal.

And Seanus I can totally sympathise. Being brought up in South East Asia, their instant noodles are the daddy!

Ramen is amazing. Amongst the best things I've tasted. The standard noodles with curry are really good. They go down a treat.

The Japanese noodles, soba and udon, are both highly edible. Soba are buckwheat noodles and udon are the softer ones. I lived in a place called Izumo first and they had the best soba in Japan.

The Asians are streets ahead when it comes to noodles. Ah yes, there's a type above. It should be Vi-Fon and not Vu-fon. My mistake.

I can't remember the name of the stuff. It was an Indonesian company that did instant noodles in a bowl with holes in it to drain the water then you mixed in the powder, chilli and oil and you got a nice mi goereng...fookin ideal!

I love Sharwoods egg noodles. I used to eat them as a kid, primarily as a base for curry.
