Lir: I tend to use a Polish written Cookbook and as my Dad was a Chef, I learnt a lot from watching him too. I was a Chef in top restaurants/hotels for 10 years i worked with many fish dishes, never a Polish one other than what i now know as salad.

Lir: My parents version of that was to fry white fish that was first dipped into a beaten egg, then the fish was dipped into breadcrumbs and then fried. First time I had English fish and chips was when I was 18 years old :) Its eitherbread crumb fish ( same as paneee escalope) or schabowe.
